Mindfulness and Wellness

General Instruction

Here a guide for your “Mindfulness and Wellness” journal section

Purpose: This section is your space to explore the nature of your inner voice and develop a deeper understanding of how it influences your experiences. You’ll practice techniques designed to cultivate awareness, self-acceptance, and the ability to act in line with your goals and values.

This Month’s Topic: (This will change each month based on the Five transformations focus)

Mindfulness and Wellness Exercise

Step 1: Observe Your Inner Dialogue:

Take a few minutes each day to simply listen to your inner voice. Pay attention to the thoughts that arise – are they predominantly positive, negative, or mixed? Don’t try to change them, just notice their quality.

Step 2: Journal Your Observations:

After each observation session, write down the following:

  • What were the main themes of your inner voice (e.g., worries, criticisms, encouragement)?
  • Did you notice any patterns in the types of thoughts that came up?
  • How did these thoughts make you feel, both emotionally and physically?

Step 3: Reflect and Connect:

  • Consider how your observations this week relate to this month’s focus. (Your Innervoice Coach (if you have one) can provide a brief prompt related to the current transformation)
  • Note any insights or awareness you gained about your inner voice.

Remember: The goal is awareness, not judgment. Be kind to yourself as you explore your inner world.

Additional Tips:

  • Find a quiet space: Practice in a place where you are free from distractions.
  • Be patient: This takes practice. Your mind will wander, and that’s okay. Gently bring your attention back to your thoughts.
  • Consistency is key: Try to do this exercise for at least 5-10 minutes each day.
