Overcoming Stage Fright

Share Adventure

Inse was feeling very nervous and insecure because he had to give a speech in front of the whole class. Curity, his older sister, noticed his anxiety and approached him.

Curity: “Inse, I can see that you’re feeling nervous about your speech. Remember the first transformation we learned? Ignore the voice of insecurity in your head.”

Inse: “But what if I mess up?”

Security: “That’s where the second transformation comes in. Use your voice of insecurity as amusement and inspiration. Instead of worrying about what could go wrong, think about what you can learn from this experience and how you can benefit from it.”

Inse took a deep breath and tried to shift his focus to the positive. He started to think about the interesting topic of his speech and how he could make it engaging for his classmates.

Security: “Great job, Inse! You’re using the third transformation now, being guided by the voice of security. Focus on your self-confidence, inspiration, and creativity.”

Inse began to feel more confident and excited about giving his speech. He practiced in front of Curity, who gave him some helpful feedback and encouragement.

On the day of the speech, Inse was still a little nervous, but he remembered the fourth transformation and took action. He stood up straight, looked at his classmates, and spoke clearly and confidently.

After the speech, Curity congratulated Inse and reminded him of the fifth transformation. “Remember, Inse, life is full of good and bad things. You will encounter both the voice of insecurity and the voice of security. The best way to deal with them is to befriend both inner voices and use them to your advantage.”

Inse smiled, feeling proud of himself for overcoming his stage fright with the help of the five transformations.
