Math is a Puzzle

As Inse and Curity walked home from school, Inse was quiet, lost in thought about his math struggles. Curity noticed his silence and asked, “What’s on your mind, Inse?”

Inse sighed, “I just can’t seem to understand math, no matter how hard I try.”

Curity put a reassuring hand on his shoulder, “Remember the second transformation, Inse? Use your voice of insecurity as amusement and inspiration. What can you learn from this struggle?”

Inse thought for a moment and then brightened, “Well, I could learn to ask for help and try different resources to improve my skills.”

Curity smiled, “Exactly! And don’t forget the third transformation, let yourself be guided by your voice of security. You can do this, Inse. You are smart and capable, and with some extra help, you can conquer math.”

Inse nodded, feeling more confident, “You’re right, Curity. I can do this.”

The next day at school, Inse approached his math teacher after class and asked for extra help. His teacher was happy to assist him and suggested some online resources to supplement his learning. Inse also talked to Curity’s older sister, who was a whiz at math, and she offered to tutor him on weekends.

With his newfound determination and support, Inse started to improve in math. He used the resources his teacher recommended and practiced regularly with Curity’s sister. He still struggled at times, but he didn’t let it get him down. He remembered the second and third transformations and used them to stay positive and motivated.

Finally, at the end of the semester, Inse was surprised and thrilled to see his math grade had improved significantly. He ran to tell Curity the good news, “I did it, Curity! My math grade improved thanks to the five transformations and all the help I received.”

Curity hugged him, “I’m so proud of you, Inse. You faced your fears and took action, that’s the fourth transformation. And you befriended your two inner voices, the fifth transformation. You are truly a brave and wise young man.”

Inse beamed with pride, “Thanks, Curity. I couldn’t have done it without you and the five transformations.”

The End.
