Title: “Inse’s Inner Duet”
The school talent show was just days away, and Inse was torn between excitement and fear. He strummed his guitar in his room, but his hands trembled.
“What if I hit the wrong note?”
“What if I forget the lyrics?”
The voice of insecurity was in full force.
Curity walked in and sat beside him. “Thinking about the show?”
Inse sighed. “Yeah. I want to do it, but my mind keeps coming up with all the ways I could fail.”
Curity nodded. “That’s your voice of insecurity talking. But instead of fighting it, what if you befriend it?”
“Befriend it?” Inse raised an eyebrow.
“Yep! 5 TFM – Befriend Your Inner Voice. That voice isn’t your enemy. It’s just trying to protect you. You can listen, but you don’t have to obey it.”
Inse thought about it. “So… kind of like a nervous coach who’s just really bad at encouragement?”
Curity laughed. “Exactly!”
The night of the show, Inse stood backstage, the voice of insecurity whispering:
“What if you forget the words?”
Inse smirked. “That’s a fair point. But I practiced. I’ve got this.”
He took a deep breath and walked onto the stage.
As he played and sang, he felt the nerves but didn’t let them take over. Instead, he let his passion shine. The music filled the room, and when he finished, the applause was deafening.
After the show, Curity hugged him. “You didn’t let insecurity stop you!”
Inse smiled. “Nope! I listened, but I made my own choice.”
And from then on, he didn’t try to silence his inner voice—he worked with it.
The End.
