The stories age 4+ are deliberately written in language that is understandable for parents. So extra explanation is (intentionally) required while read the bedtime story. This creates more intense parent-child relationship.

It was a dark and stormy night, but Inse couldn’t sleep. He was too worried about all the things he had to do the next day. His mind was racing with thoughts of homework, chores, and extracurricular activities. He didn’t know where to start or how to manage his time.

Suddenly, he heard a soft voice coming from the other side of the room. “Inse, what’s wrong?” It was his older sister, Curity. “I can’t sleep,” Inse said. “I have too much to do tomorrow and I don’t know how to manage my time.”

Curity smiled and sat down on the edge of Inse’s bed. “Don’t worry, I can help you with that. Let’s use the five transformations to get things done.”

Inse didn’t know what that meant, but he trusted his sister. She explained each transformation to him in a way that he could understand.

“First, we need to ignore the voice of insecurity,” Curity said. “That means we don’t listen to the little voice in our head that tells us we can’t do something.”

Inse nodded, and Curity continued. “Next, we use that voice as amusement and inspiration. Instead of getting upset, we can laugh and use it as motivation to do better.”

Inse smiled, starting to feel a little better. “The third transformation is to let yourself be guided by the voice of security. That means we focus on the positive things in life and believe in ourselves.”

Curity patted Inse’s hand. “Then, we take action based on what we’ve learned. We make a plan and stick to it.”

Inse started to feel more confident. “And the fifth transformation is to befriend the two voices. That means we accept that there will be good and bad things in life, but we can handle them by believing in ourselves and staying positive.”

Inse felt better and more confident already. He hugged his sister and thanked her for her help.

The next day, Inse woke up feeling motivated and ready to tackle his tasks. He made a list of everything he had to do and prioritized the most important things first. He used a timer to help him stay on track and took short breaks in between tasks.

By the end of the day, Inse had accomplished everything on his list and felt proud of himself. He ran to his sister and gave her a big hug, thanking her for her help.

From then on, Inse used the five transformations to manage his time and stay positive. He learned that he could do anything he set his mind to, as long as he believed in himself and stayed focused.

And as Inse drifted off to sleep that night, he felt happy and content, knowing that he could handle anything that came his way.

The End.
