Inse and Curity’s Five-Step Victory

Share Adventure

00:00 00:00

Inse and Curity were thrilled to start their school year together. As they took their seats, Ms. Johnson handed out a puzzle challenge. “Work in groups, solve the puzzle, and explain your thinking to the class,” she said.

Inse stared at the puzzle. His chest tightened. I can’t do this. I’ll mess up. I’m not good at puzzles!

Curity noticed his frown. “Hey, Inse, let’s use the five transformations to help us!”

1 TFM – Ignore the Voice of Insecurity

“The voice of insecurity is being loud, isn’t it?” Curity asked.

Inse nodded.

“Well, guess what? You don’t have to listen to it! Pretend it’s just background noise, like a song you don’t like.”

Inse imagined turning down the volume of the negative voice. “Alright, I’ll ignore it.”

2 TFM – Use the Voice of Insecurity for Amusement and Inspiration

“I still feel nervous,” Inse admitted.

Curity grinned. “Let’s make it funny. What if your voice of insecurity sounded like a talking banana?”

Inse burst out laughing. “A banana telling me I can’t solve a puzzle? That’s ridiculous!” Suddenly, the fear lost its grip.

3 TFM – Let the Voice of Security be Your Guide

Curity asked, “What would the voice of security say right now?”

Inse thought for a moment. I am smart enough to figure this out. He nodded. “Alright, let’s try again.”

4 TFM – Act Despite the Voice of Insecurity

Even though doubt still lingered, Inse picked up a puzzle piece and turned it in a new direction. “What if we try flipping these pieces?” he suggested.

Curity’s eyes widened. “That’s brilliant! Let’s do it!”

5 TFM – Befriend Your Inner Voice

After they solved the puzzle, it was time to present. Inse’s nerves kicked in again. But instead of fighting them, he said, “Okay, insecurity, I know you’re there. But let’s do this together.”

He stood tall and shared their solution. The class applauded.

Ms. Johnson smiled. “Excellent teamwork! You both showed incredible problem-solving skills.”

As they walked out, Inse grinned. “That actually worked.”

Curity gave him a high five. “See? The five transformations make all the difference!”

From that day on, Inse knew he had the power to tackle any challenge.
