Inse and Curity: The Angry Monster

Share Adventure

The stories age 4+ are deliberately written in language that is understandable for parents. So extra explanation is (intentionally) required while reading the bedtime story. This creates more intense parent-child relationship.

Inse was a little boy who loved to play with his toys and run around outside, but he had a big problem. He would get angry very easily and sometimes it felt like he had a monster inside of him that was hard to control. One day, Curity came to play with him and noticed that he was having a hard time. She knew exactly what to do to help him calm down and control his emotions.

Inse and Curity were playing outside in the park, when suddenly Inse’s toy car broke. He was so angry that he threw it on the ground and stomped on it. Curity saw how upset Inse was and she knew that he needed help. She told him about the voice of insecurity and the voice of security. She explained that his anger was coming from the voice of insecurity and that he needed to listen to the voice of security instead.

Inse didn’t really understand what she meant, so Curity showed him how to take deep breaths and count to ten when he felt angry. She also taught him how to express his feelings in a healthy way by using words instead of actions. Inse practiced these techniques every day and slowly but surely, he started to feel better.

One day, Inse was playing with his friends when one of them accidentally bumped into him and made him drop his favorite toy. Inse felt the monster inside him starting to come out, but he remembered what Curity had taught him. He took a deep breath, counted to ten, and calmly told his friend how he was feeling. His friend apologized and they were able to work things out together.

Inse was amazed at how much better he felt when he used the voice of security. He felt like he had control over his emotions and that the angry monster inside him was finally gone.

Inse and Curity continued to play and have fun, but now Inse knew how to handle his anger in a healthy way. He was proud of himself for learning the five transformations and for befriending the voice of insecurity. He knew that he could do anything as long as he listened to the voice of security and used his positive energy to transform his anger into something good.

The End.
