The first day of school had finally arrived, and the classroom buzzed with excitement. Inse and Curity found themselves in the same class for the first time ever! But as they walked to their desks, their eyes widened. A tricky puzzle was waiting for them.
Inse’s heart pounded. “I can’t do this… What if I mess up?” whispered the voice of insecurity inside his mind.
Curity, however, grinned. “Ooooh, a challenge! This is going to be fun!” she thought, her voice of security guiding her.
Their teacher, Ms. Johnson, clapped her hands. “Good morning, class! Today’s challenge is to work in teams to solve this puzzle. Then, you’ll present your solution to the class.”
Inse swallowed hard. Present? In front of everyone? His hands got sweaty.
Curity noticed. “Hey, Inse, what’s wrong?” she asked softly.
“I… I don’t think I’m smart enough for this,” Inse admitted.
Curity gave him a reassuring smile. “Let’s work through this step by step. And guess what? This is the perfect time to use the five transformations!”
Step 1: Ignore the Voice of Insecurity
Curity reached for the first transformation bracelet. “Inse, when the voice of insecurity tells you that you can’t, just ignore it. It’s like a mosquito buzzing in your ear—just let it fly away!”
Inse took a deep breath. He shook his head, pretending to flick the negative thoughts away. “Okay, I’ll try.”
Step 2: Use the Voice of Insecurity for Amusement and Inspiration
The puzzle still looked hard, and the voice of insecurity whispered, You’re going to mess up! But Curity giggled. “Imagine if the voice of insecurity had a funny voice like a cartoon character!” she suggested.
Inse chuckled. “Like a squeaky mouse?” He repeated his worries in a silly voice, and suddenly, they didn’t seem so scary anymore.
Step 3: Let the Voice of Security be Your Guide
Curity tapped her own bracelet. “Now, listen to the voice of security. What would it say?”
Inse closed his eyes and imagined a confident voice telling him, You are capable. You can solve this. He nodded. “Alright, let’s look at the puzzle again.”
Step 4: Act Despite the Voice of Insecurity
Even though the voice of insecurity still tried to creep in, Inse pushed forward. “Let’s try flipping the puzzle pieces upside down!” he suggested.
Curity grinned. “Great idea!”
Piece by piece, they worked together. And suddenly—CLICK!—the puzzle fit together!
Step 5: Befriend Your Inner Voice
When it was their turn to present, Inse felt nervous again. But this time, instead of fighting his inner voice, he spoke to it. “Hey, I know you’re scared, but we did the work. Let’s do this together.”
With a deep breath, he and Curity proudly presented their solution. Ms. Johnson beamed. “Fantastic teamwork and problem-solving, you two!”
As they left the classroom, Inse felt something new—pride. “Hey, Curity, the puzzle was tricky, but we solved it!”
Curity nudged him playfully. “See? The five transformations really work!”
From that day on, whenever a challenge appeared, Inse knew exactly what to do.
