(A Story About 2 TFM – Use the Voice of Insecurity for Amusement and Inspiration)
Inse sat at his desk, staring at his math homework like it was a monster waiting to eat him.
“You’re going to fail this assignment,” the voice of insecurity whispered.
“You’re just not good at math.”
His chest felt tight. He wanted to crumple up the paper and give up.
Curity walked in and saw him sulking. “What’s up, Inse?”
“I don’t get this problem,” he muttered. “And my brain keeps telling me I’m bad at math.”
Curity sat beside him. “Ah, that sounds like the voice of insecurity.”
Inse groaned. “Yeah, and it’s really annoying.”
Curity smirked. “Then why not have some fun with it?”
Inse raised an eyebrow. “Fun? With this?” He gestured at his homework.
Curity nodded. “Today’s transformation is all about using the voice of insecurity for amusement and inspiration. Instead of letting it stop you, turn it into a challenge. If it says, ‘You can’t do this,’ prove it wrong.”
Inse hesitated. “I don’t know…”
Curity grinned. “Try this: when that voice tells you something negative, imagine it wearing a silly hat. Then, instead of believing it, say, ‘Oh yeah? Watch me!’”
Inse chuckled. “A silly hat?”
“Yep! A big, goofy one with feathers.”
Inse sighed and looked back at his homework. The voice of insecurity whispered, You’ll never get the answer.
He imagined the voice wearing a ridiculous rainbow-colored hat.
Then he smirked. Oh yeah? Watch me!
He picked up his pencil and started solving the problem. At first, he still felt unsure. But instead of panicking, he kept going.
The voice tried again: You’re too slow!
He imagined it slipping on a banana peel. Oops! Too bad, insecurity—I’m not quitting.
Slowly but surely, he figured out the problem.
“I did it!” he shouted.
Curity clapped. “See? The voice of insecurity can’t stop you if you don’t let it!”
The next day, Inse felt a new kind of confidence. When a tough question came up in class, he didn’t freeze. He just grinned and thought, Oh yeah, insecurity? Watch me.
And step by step, he kept proving himself right.
